We finally got to see our friends Alan and Gini’s newly finished renovation. Wow! What a beautiful home. We spent the afternoon with Alan…walking along the beach and trail, and seeing their new boat (too windy for a ride). Well done Alan and Gini!

January 24, 2026 We departed Spring Island for historic St. Augustine. It’s the oldest city in the US. it’s a great walking and eating city. Spent a nice night at a golf club, and had a great dinner at Catch 27…seafood of course! After playing 9 the next morning, we were off to Palm Beach!🏖️
January 13, 2026. Time for a restart after our return to CT for Jim Callahan’s memorial service. We JUST beat the cold and snow as we left CT for Spring Island, where we had left the camper. We had a bonus couple of days with Lea Ann’s folks before heading to Florida!

So…we have begun the big trip which will take us to Florida, California, the Pacific NW and points and parks in between. The first stop is New Year’s at Spring with Lea Ann’s folks. The weather has been great…as you can see Jeff rang in the New Year’s with a round of golf!

Located in the low country between Charleston and Savannah, Spring is a small island of 400 homes, golf, riding, shooting and all of that stuff. The focus here is on nature.
