August 9, 2025. When talking in the abstract about getting a motorhome, Jeff always said that “I’ve never seen the Badlands”. WOW! We took time out of our drive west to do a 40 mile drive through the Badlands. It is simply amazing! Worth the wait! The rock formations are from another world. And no Canadian smoke on this day! We moved into Wyoming, where we spent the night with the nice folks at the PLF Ranch in Newcastle, WY. There are 3 generations on this farm. The grand-dad was 84, and we found him stacking 150# bales of hay in the barn. Both his son and his granddaughter are airborne EMTs when they are not farming. The granddaughter milks the goats twice a day, and uses the milk for cheese, lotions, candles and – oh, yeah – milk! We bought some of each.
