August 16, 2025. Long drive today as Jeff wanted to stop in Memphis for some BBQ. We stopped and took out before continuing east to Franklin, TN. The South 40 ranch was an interesting place to spend the night. It’s a farm….now in its 4th generation. But, they no longer farm the land…using it instead as a location for photo, video and film shoots. There are tableaus set up … a field of sunflowers, an old car barn (with old cars) a fishing pond. Well…you get the idea. Amanda Lambert, Luke Bryant and many others have shot there (leaving some good stories behind)!
